Lebo is a quiet, full service, and family oriented town. With good schools, the youth center, an excellent library and recreation opportunities, Lebo provides an excellent environment for youth development. Lebo is close to larger population centers and employment markets with access to I-35 making Emporia, Osage City, and Ottawa a short commute. Kids under 16 and Seniors over 65 can fish the pond at the west side of Lebo and Lebo City Lake offers another great fishing opportunity with a 55 acre fishery. For rail fans, Lebo features one of the best spots to SAFELY watch and photograph a variety of rail traffic and the Lebo Stars and Stripes Celebration each year is a fun-filled family event. Lebo is just 3 miles sounds of Melvern  which offers recreation in boating, fishing, camping and other outdoor activities.
